Lead/Finish Carpenter

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Lead/Finish Carpenter capable of handling projects from start to finish. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who can both produce high-quality work and manage jobs, materials, and crew when needed. Experience with cabinet installation, cabinet modification, and basic cabinet fabrication is highly preferred. Responsibilities Perform high-quality carpentry work including: Framing, trim, finish work, and repairs Drywall installation and repairs Doors, windows, cabinetry, and millwork Cabinet installation, adjustments, and basic cabinet fabrication or modifications Reading and executing plans, scopes, and work orders Leading jobs and overseeing helpers or subcontractors (Lead role) Communicating clearly with management and clients Maintaining clean, safe, and organized job sites Ensuring work meets Highend CRD quality standards Tracking materials and notifying management of needs Qualifications 5+ years of professional carpentry experience (Lead role) 5 years experience in painting and finish work mandatory Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial construction Experience installing and working with custom cabinetry or built-ins Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Leadership and job-management skills (for Lead Carpenter) Professional appearance and strong work ethic Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Own basic hand tools (power tools a plus) Preferred (But Not Required) Experience in multiple trades (drywall, painting, light electrical/plumbing) Experience managing small crews OSHA certification Experience with custom cabinet building, built-ins, or millwork fabrication Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement and leadership Steady, year-round work Performance-based raises Professional, respectful work environment Why Work With Highend CRD We value craftsmanship and professionalism Clean, organized job sites Clear communication and expectations No hacks, no shortcuts — quality work only
