Carpenter / Laborer

Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and repairing structures, as well as the ability to work collaboratively on construction sites. The Carpenter / Laborer will be responsible for executing detailed plans and ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks. Duties Perform carpentry tasks including framing, trim work, and drywall installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various projects. Assist with tiling, roofing, siding, and flooring installation. Participate in remodeling projects including fixture installation and door hanging. Collaborate with team members on construction site duties while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for material handling and project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications Previous experience in residental construction is required. Strong skills in woodworking, framing, and floor and tile laying are desirable. Ability to perform plumbing and electrical tasks is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to lift heavy materials regularly and stand for extended periods.
