This role manages job-specific carpenter crews and ensures every home reflects the distinctive "Garman Detail." The Lead Carpenter provides hands-on leadership, sets the daily pace for the crew, maintains clean and secure jobsites, and helps keep production moving according to schedule. This is a field-based, safety-sensitive position. What You'll Do Lead carpenter crews on assigned jobsites Perform skilled carpentry work, including trim, framing, hardwood flooring, concrete work, and repairs Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and build plans Maintain clean, organized, professional jobsites Ensure workmanship meets Garman quality standards Communicate with Production Managers, Personal Builders, Trade Partners, and field team members What We're Looking For Residential carpentry experience Ability to lead and direct field crews Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety practices Ability to read blueprints and specifications Valid PA driver's license with acceptable driving record Reliability, craftsmanship, integrity, and attention to detail Ability to lift 100+ pounds occasionally and work in active construction environments Why Join Garman Builders At Garman Builders, we take pride in quality, teamwork, and doing the right thing.
