This energetic role offers the opportunity to work alongside a skilled construction professional, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of trades. You will assist with a wide range of tasks on construction sites, assisting in creating high-quality structures while developing your skills. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the restoration, remodeling, and general construction industries. Duties Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, trim carpentry, roofing, siding, and fixture installation tasks Support the setup and cleanup of construction sites Handle hand tools and power tools safely to aid in cutting, measuring, and assembling materials Help with concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation Carry out heavy lifting and material transport to keep projects progressing efficiently Support specialized tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, flooring, tile laying, and electrical or plumbing rough-ins Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or carpentry work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job Valid physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday This role offers an exciting pathway into the construction industry with opportunities for skill development across multiple trades.
