Journeyman Carpenter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across a variety of projects, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency on every job site. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, from framing and trim work to restoration and remodeling projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision and attention to detail. Operate hand tools, power tools, safely and effectively. Install fixtures, moldings, drywall, flooring, insulation. tile, and metal/wood stud framing as required. Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, water damage restoration, and general renovation efforts. Measure accurately using tape measures and schematics; perform heavy lifting safely to meet project demands. Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while upholding quality standards. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong background in carpentry disciplines such as framing, trim carpentry, roofing, and siding. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics confidently. Experience with construction estimating and fabrication processes is highly desirable. Familiarity with restoration industry standards including water damage repair and mold remediation. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and fixture installation. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to carpentry work across residential or commercial projects. Prior involvement in remodeling projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, drywall finishing or electrical work is a plus. $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
