About Us We are a growing construction company with offices in Duncansville, Pennsylvania, and State College, Pennsylvania. Our primary focus is commercial construction projects, and we take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining a safe and professional work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated General Contractor / Commercial Construction Carpenter to join our team. We are also willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire to learn. Position Summary This is a hands-on construction position involving a variety of commercial construction tasks. The successful candidate will work alongside our construction team on projects that may include concrete work, framing, drywall installation, ceilings, door and hardware installation, and other general construction activities. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the construction team to complete commercial construction projects. Perform concrete work, wood framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, ceiling installation, and door and hardware installation. Read and follow project plans, specifications, and instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Assist with other construction-related tasks as needed. QualificationsRequired Commercial construction experience preferred (10+ years strongly preferred). Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and practices. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work safely and effectively in active construction environments. Preferred Carpentry experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred but not required). Knowledge of Pennsylvania building codes and permitting processes. Work Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday 8-hour daytime shifts No weekend work required under normal operating conditions Locations Duncansville, PA State College, PA Compensation & Benefits $20.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience Paid Time Off (PTO) negotiable based on experience Employer contribution of 3% of gross wages to a retirement account Health benefit reimbursement up to $500 per month
