Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Helper to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential remodels to commercial builds, utilizing your craftsmanship and hands-on expertise. As a Carpenter/Helper, you will assist in constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing structures with precision and safety in mind. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while contributing to high-quality projects. All positions are paid, emphasizing our commitment to fair compensation for your valuable work. Responsibilities Assist lead carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures according to blueprints and schematics Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks such as framing, roofing, drywall installation, and finishing Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Support in concrete forming, masonry work, stucco application, and other specialized tasks like glass or cabinet installation Perform demolition, cleanup, and site preparation to maintain a safe and organized construction environment Use heavy equipment when necessary for lifting or moving materials on-site Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction plans with attention to detail Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes Skilled in various trades such as carpentry (frame, trim, door hanging), roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, plastering, welding, and restoration work Familiarity with Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools is a plus Ability to perform construction site inspections ensuring quality standards are met Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems relevant to construction projects Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights or in confined spaces Join us if you're passionate about building excellence!
