Due to the unique nature of our work, direct experience with stair building is not necessarily expected or required from applicants. Candidate should have considerable experience and ability in high end finish carpentry, milling, and shop production. Interest, ability, and level of commitment will be highly evaluated during interview process. This job is best suited for applicants who will be interested in long term growth, learning and opportunity within the company. Duties Mill lumber to various specifications using basic shop tools such as joiner, planer, tablesaw,chop saws, and routers. Follow detailed plans and specifications to construct stair and handrail parts. Learn to understand how to shop assemble stair bodies and handrail fittings. Learn how to install stairbodies and handrail fittings. Requirements Considerable experience and ability in finish carpentry. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively. Stressed importance on attention to detail. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, primarily lifting lumber and shop assembled staircases.
