Newport, Rhode Island Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Lead Carpenter to join a top team in the Rhode Island Area. The ideal candidate has exceptional craftsmanship, strong leadership abilities, and extensive experience working on custom homes and high end remodel projectsPosition Responsibilities:
Lead and perform high-level carpentry tasks, including but not limited to framing, finish carpentry, millwork installation, cabinetry, trim, and custom built-ins. Interpret and execute architectural drawings, blueprints, and detailed shop drawings accurately. Coordinate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to maintain efficient jobsite. Oversee crew and ensure quality standards are met Enforce safety practices and maintain a clean, organized job site.Qualifications:
7+ years of carpentry experience in high-end residential or custom home building/ . Master-level skill in frame to finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, and detailed custom work. Proven experience in leading crews and managing job sites. Strong knowledge of residential building codes, best practices, and construction techniques. Ability to work 40+ hours a week Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong references that will support your work historyPay Range:
