Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trim Carpenter with a minimum 2years experience to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing interior trim components with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential new construction and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your professional growth. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, and wainscoting with accuracy and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation procedures Utilize hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, nail guns) efficiently and safely on various construction sites Perform framing work when necessary to support trim installation or other carpentry tasks Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate schedules and ensure timely project completion Prepare surfaces by caulking, sanding, or applying finishing materials to achieve a polished look Skills Strong experience in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, and general woodworking techniques Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and construction work Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards Ability to lift heavy materials safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly Experience with fixture installation including doors, cabinets, moldings, flooring, tile laying, roofing components, and electrical or plumbing fixtures Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration and rebar installation for structural repairs Required • Reliable transportation, preferably a truck or SUV to transport your tools and equipment from job to job. • Personal tools and equipment to fully trim a home.
