As a Lead Carpenter, you will oversee and coordinate complex construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead skilled teams, utilize your extensive knowledge of construction trades, and contribute to the successful completion of diverse building projects. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including cold form steel studs, concrete forming, flooring, rough carpentry, finish carpentry and framing. Oversee rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work, roofing, siding, stucco, and plastering activities to ensure adherence to project specifications. Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and other machinery safely and effectively on-site. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities accurately. Lead teams in carpentry tasks such as trim carpentry, framing (including metal stud framing), woodworking, and restoration projects. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship across all trades. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and project goals efficiently. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and stucco application. Extensive hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, framing (including frame carpentry), drywall installation, and remodeling projects. Skilled in the operation of heavy equipment such as scissor lifts, skid steers, excavtors and forklifts used in construction sites. Ability to read detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution of complex projects. Demonstrated leadership in managing construction crews across multiple trades including carpentry, masonry, welding, plastering, and restoration work. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, power tools usage, scaffolding setup, and site hazard mitigation. Strong understanding of construction codes and standards applicable to residential or commercial projects.
