Established in 2013 after many years of experience in the residential and commercial sectors, the company recognized a demand for a commercial product with more finesse than what typically exists in the commercial construction marketplace. Smart Commercial Construction, Co. is looking to hire carpenters with the desire to possess a wide range of skill sets. Carpenters receive the satisfaction of working on and being a part of all phases of construction and seeing projects through to completion. Carpenters are full time, year-round, employees who are paid based on experience. Immediate growth and advancement opportunities are available.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete a variety of commercial construction and carpentry tasks on new construction and renovation projects. Install framing, doors, siding, trim, concrete, precast concrete, and other carpentry-related components according to plans and specifications. Work with project teams to maintain schedules, quality standards, and customer satisfaction. Operate tools and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow company safety policies and demonstrate professionalism on every jobsite.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check Reliable transportation Ability to meet the physical demands of construction work (100lb. lifting requirement) Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment Possess a good work ethic and ability to follow directions Good oral and written communication skills Self-motivated with desire to achieve goals and complete tasks
