Established in 2013 after many years of experience in the residential and commercial sectors, the company recognized a demand for a commercial product with more finesse than what typically exists in the commercial construction marketplace. Smart Commercial Construction, Co. is looking to hire skilled, self-motivated carpenters that possess a wide range of skill sets. Carpenters receive the satisfaction of working on and being a part of all phases of construction and seeing projects through to completion. Carpenters are full time, year-round, employees who are paid based on experience. Immediate growth and advancement opportunities are available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow established safety policies, rules and regulations while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Maintain thorough knowledge of construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, and safety. Read and understand blueprints, diagrams and written instructions. Must utilize mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to complete job requirements. Maintain a high level of customer service, a friendly team environment within the organization, and interact effectively with trade partners.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check Reliable transportation Ability to meet the physical demands of construction work (100lb. lifting requirement) Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment Possess a good work ethic and ability to follow directions Good oral and written communication skills Self-motivated with desire to achieve goals and complete tasks
