Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Carpenters and Laborers to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support carpentry work and general labor duties on the construction site. This is a hands-on position requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Carpentry Tasks:
Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and framing. Cut, shape, and assemble wood, drywall, and other materials. Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden structures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
General Labor Tasks:
Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up scaffolding. Transport materials and tools to and from work areas. Operate basic power tools and hand tools safely. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively with other crew members and subcontractors. Follow instructions from the Site Superintendent and Foreman.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar laborer role. Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools. Ability to follow blueprints and building plans. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Basic knowledge of construction safety standards. Good communication and teamwork skills. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
Construction trade certification (e.g., Apprenticeship or Journeyman status). Experience in commercial construction projects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 30 pounds). Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform manual labor for extended periods. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
