Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of lead carpenter. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality workmanship across various construction and restoration projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, construction, and restoration techniques, demonstrating proficiency in both manual and power tools. This position requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and an ability to work effectively in diverse environments. Duties Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Conduct cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation with attention to detail. Provide maintenance person services including caulking, and construction painting. Collaborate with team members on remodeling tasks installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry. Familiarity with restoration industry practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job tasks. Knowledge of electrical systems is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong background in assembly processes related to construction projects. Previous experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety regulations.
