Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic construction and restoration team. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who thrives in hands-on environments, possesses a broad range of carpentry and construction skills, and is eager to contribute to diverse projects. As a Skilled Carpenter, you will play a vital part in executing high-quality craftsmanship across various sectors, including remodeling, restoration, and new construction. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Perform detailed construction estimating to accurately assess project costs and materials Execute trim, frame, and metal stud carpentry with precision using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, roofing, stucco, and other building components Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, and water damage restoration tasks Fabricate custom components through woodworking and metalworking techniques as needed Assist with plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and fixture installation to support comprehensive project needs Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols Support mold remediation efforts and water damage restoration projects with specialized techniques Contribute to remodeling projects by performing demolition, surface preparation, painting, caulking, and finishing work Operate CNC machinery for fabrication or assembly tasks when required Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards Experience Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on carpentry and renovation work Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading skills Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, framing (including metal studs), roofing, siding, drywall installation, and flooring Familiarity with the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) in daily tasks Background in restoration industry projects such as mold remediation or water damage repair is highly desirable Experience working with schematics for electrical or plumbing systems is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for demanding tasks Prior involvement in manufacturing or fabrication environments involving assembly or CNC machinery is advantageous Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to bring your diverse skill set to meaningful projects.
