- Part-time, Full-time, Contract Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer Carpenter specializing in Ranch Maintenance to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures on ranch properties, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise will help sustain the integrity of ranch facilities, including fencing, barns, corrals, and other essential infrastructure. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components for ranch buildings and fencing using hand tools and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects Construct and repair structures such as barns, corrals, sheds, fencing, siding, and roofing systems Perform concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation as needed for foundational projects Install fixtures including doors, windows, cabinets, and other structural or decorative elements Conduct restoration work on existing structures affected by weather or age-related wear including stucco, plastering, water damage remediation, and mold removal Operate heavy machinery for lifting and fabrication tasks while adhering to safety protocols Skills Extensive experience with framing carpentry across construction sites with a focus on ranch environments Proficiency in trim carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall installation & finishing Skilled in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws), CNC machinery for fabrication tasks Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide construction processes Knowledge of roofing techniques including metal roofing and siding installation Experience with plumbing and electrical work relevant to ranch maintenance projects Strong understanding of construction estimating procedures for project planning and resource management Familiarity with restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration and mold remediation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in detailed tasks such as fixture installation or tile laying Knowledge of schematics for electrical or mechanical systems within ranch structures Hands-on experience with caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, tile work, masonry techniques & water damage repair Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team on remodeling projects or general handyman tasks Join us if you're eager to bring your craftsmanship skills into a vibrant ranch setting!
