About the Role Join our dynamic construction team as a Rough Carpenter, where you will be instrumental in bringing residential blueprints to life. You will utilize your expertise in wood framing to build the structural skeletons of homes, ensuring every project is completed with precision, durability, and strict adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities Interpret complex architectural blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise structural layouts. Assemble and erect wall systems, floor joists, and roof trusses to form the core framework of residential buildings. Operate power saws, pneumatic nailers, and hand tools to cut and fasten structural components with high accuracy. Verify that all framing work complies with local building codes and structural integrity requirements. Coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors to maintain efficient workflow and meet critical construction milestones. Execute structural repairs and modifications on existing residential properties as project needs arise. Uphold a high standard of site cleanliness and safety, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards. Qualifications Required Skills Proven professional experience in residential framing or rough carpentry. Comprehensive knowledge of wood framing techniques, structural materials, and heavy-duty power tools. Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications.
