TX03 - Home Finishing Carpenter/ Installer (Carpentry and Millwork) Stile Interiors - 3.5 Dallas, TX Job Details Part-time $16 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Fabrication Door installation in residential renovation Residential construction Driver's License Millwork Door trim installation In-home experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Home Finishing Carpenter/Installer to join our dynamic team. This role is vital in transforming residential spaces through expert carpentry and millwork installation, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. As a key contributor, you will bring precision, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship to every home you work on. Your expertise will help create beautiful, functional living environments that delight our clients and elevate their everyday experience. Duties Read blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to execute precise installations aligned with project specifications; Loading and unloading materials and house packages; Measure, cut, and install baseboards, casing, custom trim, other millwork and door with precision and care; Perform touch-ups and minor finishing work (caulking, filling, sanding); Use hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to complete installations; Inspect the finished job for defects to ensure it meets the company and client standards; Execute restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general building repairs. Maintain a clean and organized job site; Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and clients; Work both in-shop and on-site as required for project completion; Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times; Performs other related duties as assigned. Experience Requires 2 years of experience in residential carpentry, including trim carpentry, door hanging, specifically in home finishing trades; Strong background in construction, site procedures and blueprint reading experience is highly desirable; Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment (mitre saws, nail guns, drills, sanding tools, etc.); Knowledge of schematics for fixture installation and fabrication techniques; experience with CNC machinery is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Physical ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods; Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
