Job Description

Signature Group is currently seeking experienced Rough/Finish Carpenters for immediate employment in local area Industrial plants and refineries . Ideal candidates are individuals with home & commercial remodeling experience with an eye for detail and excellent craftsmanship. Work is in the Beaumont, TX and surrounding local area. Background checks, drug & alcohol testing will apply to all applicants offered a position. Must have or be able to obtain area Safety Council training and a TWIC card. Candidates must have carpentry experience which includes, but not limited to; knowledge of commercial and industrial construction, drywall (hanging, float & tape, and finish), trim, ceramic tile, flooring, window and door installation, painting, etc.

Duties include:

General Carpentry - Rough and Finish Framing Hang Drywall / Drywall Repair / Patching / Caulking Finish Drywall / tape & float / texture Painting Interior and Exterior Window and Door installation

Flooring Repair and Installation Handyman, General Repairs and Maintenance Work Read and Interpret Construction Drawings Requirements:

Safety mindedness is essential Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Industrial Carpenter hand tools, power tools and layout tools. Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and prints, preferred. Current TWIC card preferred Applicant shall agree to initial Drug/Alcohol testing and random testing thereafter A criminal background check will be conducted

Physical Requirements:

Hear and distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of up to 50 pounds Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time Be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts Americans with
