The Carpenter will perform duties under the supervision of a Foreman or Lead, including constructing, erecting, stripping, and repairing concrete formwork and structures using steel, wood, and plywood. The Carpenter will use both hand and power tools while conforming to construction documents. Exposure to all carpenter duties is expected, with potential specialization in specific areas.Duties & Responsibilities:
The Carpenter must be able to perform assigned duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Install footing forms Build and install wall and column forms Build and install structural deck forms Set slab-on-grade forms Prepare and set tilt-up and precast forms Work with building layout and construction plans Maintain a safe work environment at all times Participate in required training and certifications This list describes the general nature of the work and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.Work Environment:
Work is performed on an active construction site Exposure to outdoor weather conditions Exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, and loud noises May be required to work at heights and around heavy equipmentJob Requirements:
