Day‑to‑day, you will build and set formwork systems, install bulkheads and embeds, and verify alignment, level, and dimensions. You will read and interpret plans, coordinate with other trades, and ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment. More experienced team members may lead complex layouts, mentor helpers, and help drive productivity, quality, and safe work practices in the field. Successful team members in this role are detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and take pride in craftsmanship, delivering precise, high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment. Your Skills Formwork Construction & Layout Form Building, Alignment & Installation Blueprint & Specification Reading Quality Control & Precision Work Tool & Equipment Operation Problem‑Solving & Adaptability Safety Awareness & Teamwork Your Background Previous experience as a concrete carpenter or form builder on civil construction projects. Strong skillset in building, setting, bracing, and stripping concrete formwork for slabs, walls, footings, columns, and related structures. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, grades, elevations, measurements, and specifications. Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding field environment.
