Apprentice Carpenter / Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization. Support skilled carpenters with framing, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, sanding, and assembling materials. Help with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, siding installation, and metal stud framing as needed. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist in fabricating or installing components accordingly. Participate in restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration. Assist with demolition, heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old with a strong desire to learn the trade of carpentry and construction. Previous construction site experience or handyman experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while following safety protocols. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Basic understanding of blueprint reading or schematics is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn required skills such as construction estimating or CNC fabrication. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Reliable transportation to job sites; punctuality is essential.
