Overview

HONEST & RELIABLE MASTER

Finish Carpenter / Installer $30-35 Depending on experience + Paid Holidays Must have own transportation to all job sites in Utah, Wasatch, Salt Lake, and Summit Counties.

Responsible for:

Executing high-quality finish carpentry and installation work Ensuring precision, craftsmanship, and adherence to safety standards Leading and training a small crew of 2-5 carpenters Producing high-end/luxury home finish carpentry without supervision Ensuring proper material handling, storage, and installation techniques Advanced Finish Carpentry Install complex wall trim systems, including coffered panels, wainscoting, applied molding layouts, and custom feature walls Build and install faux beams, both decorative and structural-style wraps, with seamless joints and clean integration into ceilings Install complex ceiling treatments, including coffered ceilings, beam grids, tray ceilings, tongue-and-groove ceilings, and intricate trim layouts Install advanced tongue and groove systems on walls and ceilings with tight seams, proper expansion spacing, and consistent alignment Fabricate and install custom railings, including wood stair systems, handrails, newel posts, balusters, and integrated trim details Execute detailed casing, base, crown molding, and specialty trim work with tight miters and clean transitions Install large-format and custom door systems, including multi-panel, oversized, and hanging/sliding door systems with precise alignment, smooth operation, and concealed or exposed hardware integration Scribe materials to uneven surfaces for seamless installs in high-end environments Modify and fabricate materials on-site when needed to achieve a perfect fit and finish Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards Requirements Honest & reliable 3+ years of full-time high-end finish carpentry experience Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks throughout the workday, including bending, working on knees, climbing and maneuvering on scaffolding. A focus on safety protocols and quality craftsmanship Benefits such as insurance and PTO are not offered at this time.
