We build high-end decks, porches, & patios, and we stay busy year-round. No winter layoffs. No "we'll see how spring looks". We keep our crews working. What We Take Care of For You (To keep you focused on building, not paperwork) All plans & engineering All permits All material takeoffs All material orders & deliveries Pre-build client communication Post-build closeout communication You build the projects. We handle the office. Pay & Benefits $28 -$32 an hour (depending on experience) Bonus opportunities Steady, reliable year-round work Company-provided tools (you only bring hand tools) Company trucks, trailers, ladders, and equipment Room to grow into more leadership A team that works hard, laughs hard, and actually likes each other What You'll Do (Onsite Carpentry Duties) Read building plans and design documents to ensure accurate builds Lay out projects: footing holes, roof lines, staircase landings Be part of an aweosme crew and make sure work is done the Core way Check material deliveries; report damage/missing items Communicate material shortages to the purchasing manager Track any materials taken from or returned to storage Lift, carry, cut, and install building materials Use hand and power tools Dig and pour concrete footings Work at heights on roofs, fascia, siding, and trim Spread gravel and prepare base material Perform demolition and disposal when needed Load and unload trucks Communication & Leadership Responsibilities Other Job Duties Picking up materials from vendors Driving a company vehicle to jobsites Dump runs using company vehicles Helping maintain a safe, clean, organized jobsite every day Requirements Must be able to work standard field hours (typically 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) Must supply your own basic hand tools (tool belt, hammer, tape measure, speed square, chalk line, knife, pencil) Must wear jobsite-appropriate boots Must have cold-weather gear, rain gear, gloves, hats Must wear safety glasses Must respect client property (use the company Port-a-Jon only) Must have a valid driver's license & clean driving record Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, digging, climbing, and working at heights Huge plus: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Deck and porch construction experience Why Core Outdoor Living?
