Concrete Form Carpenter

HardHat Workforce Solutions LLC is hiring for experienced concrete form carpenters for projects between Williamsburg and Chesapeake VA. Pay is based on experience.

Major Responsibilities:

• Individual will must be able to build rough wooden structures, such as concrete forms, shoring, temporary frame structures according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions
• Accurately interpret and apply information from drawings, specifications, or other documents and recognize basic blueprint terms and symbols for job application
• Identify, recognize, and demonstrate safe usage of power tools and hand tools appropriate for the job
• Recognize various materials used in carpentry and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques
• Demonstrate ability to properly build and brace concrete forms using various systems

Qualifications:

• Form Carpenter, Anchor Bolts, Survey, Concrete, Layouts, Structure, Walls, Tied Steel, Angle
• Individuals are expected to have 3-5+ years of concrete carpentry experience (form ) in an industrial environment
• Individuals are expected to have experience in concrete foundation and form work experience This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
