Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Finish Carpenter to join our new and growing construction team. This role is vital in transforming blueprints and design concepts into beautifully finished structures, ensuring every detail meets our high standards of craftsmanship. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for delivering precise, high-quality work on interior and exterior projects, contributing to the overall success of our construction and restoration initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in carpentry, fabrication, and restoration work while having the opportunity to grow with the company. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and custom fixtures with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, sanding, plastering, and painting to achieve smooth, professional results Install siding, stucco, metal studs, flooring, tile, and other surface finishes according to project specifications Handle heavy lifting and operate power tools safely to complete framing, rebar installation, concrete forming, and roofing tasks Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards Conduct restoration work including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and structural repairs as needed Able to have your own personal set of tools and all others will be provided. Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating and blueprint reading for precise project planning Proficiency in trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, fixture installation, and woodworking techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for framing, finishing, fabrication, and assembly tasks Strong background in construction site experience across remodeling, manufacturing environments, or restoration projects Knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing systems, HVAC components, and metal stud framing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality workmanship Familiarity with building codes related to siding installation, roofing systems, masonry work, drywall finishing (plastering), and flooring installation This is a paid position that values precision craftsmanship combined with a proactive approach.
