Job Description

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Experienced Carpenter for a long-term project in Ellensburg, WA . Join a major renovation project converting an older motel into 78 apartment units. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled carpenter looking for long-term, steady work on a large-scale remodel.
PAY:
$33-$38/hr. (based on experience)
HOURS:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours/week
START DATE
07/13/2026
DURATION:
This is anticipated to be an 11-month contract position
Carpenter Job Description:
The Carpenter will be responsible for framing, straightening existing walls, demolition work, and various remodeling tasks associated with converting an older motel into 78 apartment units. Candidates must be able to read plans, work independently, and safely operate hand and power tools. Qualifications for
Carpenter:
Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience Strong experience with framing, wall straightening, and remodel work Experience working on renovation and structural correction projects Ability to safely use hand and power tools Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting construction materials Position requires full PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, safety vest, and all necessary carpentry tools
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must have reliable transportation to the job site Pre-employment 5-panel drug screen required Criminal background screening required
Work Environment:
Indoor and outdoor work Exposure to hot and cold weather conditions
