Carpenter - Commercial Construction Job Description This position is responsible for performing a variety of commercial carpentry tasks on active construction sites. The ideal candidate can be assigned a task and independently complete it without the need for constant supervision or step-by-step direction. Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks on commercial construction projects Complete framing, backing, and installation work per project requirements Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings Accurately measure, cut, and install materials using hand tools and basic power tools Maintain a clean and safe work environment Complete assigned tasks efficiently once "lined out" by supervision Required Skills Construction and general carpentry Rough carpentry and framing Blueprint/print reading Use of hand tools Tape measure proficiency Installation and backing Commercial construction experience Qualifications Ability to read and understand construction prints Able to work independently and finish tasks without direct supervision Strong attention to detail and work quality Reliable and dependable on job sites Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kirkland, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
