Job Description

Overview Embark on an exciting journey as a Carpenter Apprentice, where you'll develop foundational skills in carpentry and construction while contributing to diverse projects. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in building, remodeling, and restoration work across various settings. Under the guidance of experienced carpenters, you'll learn to interpret blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and assist with a wide range of construction tasks. Responsibilities Assist with framing, trim carpentry, siding, and door hanging tasks on construction sites. Support the installation of fixtures, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and other interior elements. Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision. Participate in concrete forming, rebar installation, metal stud framing, and roofing activities. Aid in restoration projects including water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, and mold remediation. Support heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow on-site. Qualifications Enthusiastic about learning construction trades with a strong interest in carpentry. Prior experience or familiarity with construction site environments is a plus but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of construction safety practices and tool usage preferred. Strong communication skills and willingness to follow instructions carefully. Ability to read basic schematics or blueprints is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
