Carpenter / Fabrication & Delivery Associate (Polycarbonate Products)
Location:
Mount Vernon, WA | Full-Time | $21
  • 23/hour + Benefits + Overtime BC Greenhouse Builders and Charley's Greenhouse & Garden Supply have been manufacturing and supplying premium greenhouse systems since 1951.
We are known for quality materials, precision fabrication, and exceptional customer service across North America. We are expanding our Mount Vernon and Burlington teams and are looking for a hands-on, skilled Carpenter / Fabrication & Delivery Associate to support our growing operations. This role is a mix of mostly polycarbonate handling, light fabrication, inventory stocking, and customer interaction , along with local deliveries. If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and being part of both production and customer-facing work, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
Fabrication & Assembly Work with polycarbonate panels and greenhouse components (cutting, handling, organizing, and preparing materials) Build and assemble wood benches, staging, and support structures Assist with light fabrication and component preparation Follow drawings, cut lists, and material specifications Inventory & Materials Handling Receive, organize, and stock large volumes of polycarbonate and greenhouse materials Maintain organized storage and material flow in the warehouse/shop Assist with loading and staging materials for production and delivery Delivery & Logistics Load/unload trucks safely and efficiently Complete local deliveries (company vehicle provided) Ensure materials arrive safely and are handled with care Customer Interaction Interact professionally with customers at our facility and on delivery sites Provide a helpful, service-oriented experience during pickups and deliveries Representing the company in a positive and professional manner General Shop Support Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Support team members wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
Experience in carpentry, fabrication, construction, or warehouse/materials handling (2+ years preferred) Comfortable working with polycarbonate, wood, and light structural materials Ability to read basic drawings, cut lists, or instructions Strong attention to detail and quality of work Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Strong communication and people skills Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional way Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented Forklift license is desirable but not required.
