Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational carpentry skills while contributing to a variety of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. As an entry-level professional, you will work closely with experienced carpenters and tradespeople, gaining hands-on experience in diverse aspects of construction and renovation. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to learn, grow their craft, and build a solid career in the construction industry. Responsibilities Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation to support project progress Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements Prepare materials for fabrication, including cutting, measuring, and assembling components Support concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, siding, and metal stud framing tasks as needed Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to ensure timely project completion Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques Prior experience on construction sites preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to follow direction of Project Leader Basic understanding of construction Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor safely in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail to ensure precision in measurements and cuts Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Valid Driver's License Join us to kick-start your career in carpentry!
