$35 to $45+ per hour (Based on experience).

Mandatory Licenses & Certifications:

Valid Driver's License. The Opportunity You will serve as a premier craftsman and field leader, executing architecturally significant projects that define luxury living in Southern Wisconsin. This role empowers you to lead a seasoned crew while working alongside top-tier designers to transform complex blueprints into masterfully built residential realities. How You Will Make an Impact Direct a skilled crew of carpenters to execute high-precision rough carpentry across all project phases. Oversee the installation of specialized exterior elements, including windows, doors, siding, soffit, and fascia. Interpret and translate complex architectural blueprints into exact field measurements and structural framing. Coordinate seamlessly with in-house designers and subcontractors to maintain Bartelts standards of integrity. Maintain an organized and safe job site that reflects the companys reputation for professional excellence. Execute technical solutions for on-site challenges to ensure projects remain on schedule and within design intent. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of lead carpentry experience specifically within residential construction and remodeling. Proven ability to lead a team of carpenters while maintaining high levels of self-motivation and reliability. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed construction documents and architectural drawings. Strong technical understanding of framing, general building techniques, and exterior envelope systems. Possession of a valid drivers license and a consistent record of professional site representation. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Demonstrated experience in high-end, luxury residential builds with a focus on architectural integrity. Extensive background in specialty exterior installations and complex structural remodeling. Proven track record of mentoring junior carpenters to elevate the teams overall craftsmanship.
