Job Overview Join our team as a Sunroom Installer and Backyard Remodeling Expert and bring beautiful, functional outdoor living spaces to life. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of sunrooms, screen rooms, porch enclosures and other backyard remodeling products, ensuring they are built to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help homeowners expand their living areas, enhance their homes' aesthetic appeal, and enjoy the benefits of a seamless indoor-outdoor transition. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of construction skills, and contribute to transforming residential spaces with craftsmanship and care. Responsibilities Follow instructions and/or schematics or construction plans to accurately assemble sunroom and other structures. Erect building frameworks ensuring proper alignment and stability. Install siding, trim carpentry, roofing, and other exterior finishes to create a polished appearance. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate construction tasks. Construction site activities including heavy lifting, material handling, and coordination with team members to meet project deadlines. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven experience in construction and/or carpentry. Skilled in using hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for precise installation work. Strong knowledge of construction and site safety protocols. Experience with rough framing, roofing, finish carpentry and aluminum cladding. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed. Prior construction site experience demonstrating versatility across various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or remodeling projects. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site. Great Attendance. This is a full-time year-round outdoors job. If you have basic construction knowledge and skills, we would like to interview you. A skilled carpenter able to lead a crew will get company vehicle to commute (Dane Co.).
