ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
•
INSTALL BUILDING STRUCTURES COMPOSED OF WOOD SUCH AS ROOFING FRAMES, RAFTERS, PARTITIONS, JOIST
(FLOOR & CEILING) •
INSTALL FOUNDATIONS, WALLS, FLOORS, CEILINGS AND ROOFS USING MATERIAL SUCH AS WOOD, STEEL, METALS ,CONCRETE, PLASTICS AND COMPOSITE OF MULTIPLE MATERIALS
•
FIT & INSTALL WINDOW FRAMES, DOORS, DOORFRAMES, DOOR HARDWARE, INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR TRIM
•
INSTALL WOOD AND METAL FENCES
•
INSTALL CABINETS, SHELVING, FITTED FURNITURE, DRYWALL & INSULATION.
•
INSTALL BASEBOARDS, DOOR & WINDOW TRIM
•
INSTALL STAIR STRINGERS, STAIR RISERS, & STAIR TREADS
•
INSTALL PORCHES, DECKS, PERGOLAS & GAZEBOS SKILLSET/KNOWLEDGE
•
SELECT LUMBER BY SIZE AND STRENGTH TO SUIT EACH JOB
•
BE ABLE TO READ BLUEPRINTS, WORK SPECIFICATIONS PREPARED BY DESIGN PROFESSIONALS, ENGINEERS AND SURVEYORS.
•
BE ABLE TO PERFORM BUILDING CODE RECOMMENDATIONS AND MAKE NECESSARY CHANGES IF NEEDED ON JOBS OR TASKS. QUALIFICATIONS
•
BASIC MATH, READING & WRITING SKILLS
•
DETAIL ORIENTED AND CONSISTENT
•
ABILITY TO SET UP JOBS AND CLOSE DOWN WORKSITES WHEN NECESSARY
•
HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE, DESIRE TO LEARN, TEACH & LISTEN WHEN WORKING WITH OTHERS AT JOBSITE. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•
NORMAL, CORRECTIVE VISION RANGE
