This role involves the precise fabrication, assembly, and finishing of custom doors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and experience in carpentry, fabrication, and materials handling. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and finish door components using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely for materials handling and transportation Fabricate door frames, panels, and hardware with attention to detail and quality standards Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, sealing, and applying protective coatings Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the manufacturing or warehouse setting Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, carpentry, or millwork is highly desirable Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, drills, and measuring devices Familiarity with power tools including sanders, routers, drills, and machining equipment Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to door fabrication and finishing processes Understanding of construction principles related to door installation and finishing Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret project specifications Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards in a workshop or warehouse environment
