Job Description

Position Summary / Purpose Lead construction carpenter oversees carpentry work on custom home builds and remodeling projects. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while leading and supporting carpentry team members on-site. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise apprentices and carpenters on job sites Communicate effectively with crew members and Project Managers Manage daily logs and job updates through JobTread Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings and instructions Preform rough and finish carpentry, including trim, millwork, cabinetry, siding and general construction tasks Coordinate and schedule work based on materials, labor and project needs Ensure efficient workflow and coordination of multiple on-site activities. Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site at all times. Follow all company policies and safety standards Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail on all projects Use and maintain manual and power tools, and measuring devices Overseejobsite needs, including materials, equipment and labor Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Six (6) or more years of experience in carpentry is required , including: rough framing, painting, drywall, finish carpentry, cabinetry, flooring, siding, and trim work Proven ability to lead, train and motivate a team Strong communication and organziational skills Proficient with measuring tools, hand tools and power tools Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work indpendently Professional attitude and appearance Heavy equipment skills, such as SkyTrak, fork lift, dump trailer, preferred but not required
