Skilled Carpenters are expected to actively contribute to a learning culture by offering mentorship to junior team members, participating in safety, skill, and knowledge trainings, and continually asking questions and learning from those with more experience. Some may come from backgrounds in custom homebuilding, cabinetry, or other forms of fine woodworking; others may have cut their teeth in fast-paced production environments. This role reports to the Lead Carpenter. Key responsibilities Proficiency in fabrication of saunas and sauna accessories in accordance with all shop protocols and quality standards Requires some to no guidance on shop building techniques and protocols Contribute to regular shop cleaning, organization, and maintenance Proficiency in reading and building off of shop blue prints Participate in regular build team meetings and project overview meetings Follow all shop safety policies and attend safety meetings Work with your team to meet required build timelines and efficiency goals Job requirements Extensive experience working alone and on a team Exceptional attention to detail Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Maintain a positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills High degree of attention to detail and organizational skills Computer skills (Google Workspace, QuickBooks Time, Email, etc.) Minimum construction experience 2-4 years, including but not limited to: framing, interior and exterior finishing, flashing detail, metal roofing/siding, electrical, and decking Compensation and benefits This role is a full-time position, located in Superior, Wisconsin. This role is paid at an hourly rate of $26.00. Overtime will be paid in accordance with the FLSA at 1.5x over 40 hours and must be approved by the Senior Production Manager. This role will include 20 days of PTO, which includes vacation and sick time. This role includes health, dental, and vision insurance for the employee and dependents. This role includes 401K with company contribution.
