In this vital role, you will be responsible for completing the final stages of construction projects, ensuring all elements are finished to the highest standards, and ready for occupancy. Your expertise will help deliver polished, flawless results by performing precise inspections, finishing tasks, and coordinating with various trades. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship and contribute to successful project completions that exceed client expectations.

Your contributions will include:

Conducting comprehensive inspections of completed work to verify quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications; including blueprint reading. Performing finish tasks such as caulking, light trim carpentry, drywall installation, cleaning/organizing job sites, and light framing to achieve a polished appearance. Installing hardware with precision using hand tools and power tools. Managing touch-up painting to ensure seamless project completion. Collaborating and communicating with project managers and subcontractors to address punch list items efficiently and document completion progress.

You will bring:

Experience in construction site work with a focus on finishing trades such as carpentry, drywall, & painting is required. Previous experience with residential building is preferred. Knowledge of construction is required. Previous experience communicating subcontractors and working with Project Managers is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of hands-on experience with blueprint reading is required. Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools required for detailed finish work is required. We provide the tools! A "can do", dependable work mindset including the ability to be to be at work consistently and on time, is required. In addition to being able to perform the physical requirements of the job, you must be able to lift up to 100lbs. A valid Wisconsin driver's license and the ability to travel throughout Dane County is required. We are willing to train the right candidate! We're located in Waunakee, WI on Main Street; an easy location to serve surrounding Dane county clients with our provided work vehicle. In return for your talents, we offer $45,000-$50,000 salary per year, benefits, a company truck for traveling during the day on business, and a fun team to work with.
