Job Description

•Seasonal-job with option for full-time hire at end of season. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and carpentry techniques, with the ability to lead projects and mentor team members. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Carpenter will collaborate with construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the construction team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Perform construction estimating to prepare accurate project bids and budgets. Execute trim carpentry, frame carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and other carpentry tasks as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks including concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and flooring installation. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Conduct heavy lifting and physical labor as required on-site. Oversee restoration projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general remodeling tasks. Ensure quality control during all phases of construction by conducting inspections of completed work. Provide training and guidance to junior team members in carpentry techniques and safety practices. Experience, requirements and skills Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry, restoration work, framing, windows, doors, trim, additions, renovations. Familiarity with various construction methods including masonry, plumbing, electrical work, tile laying, metal stud framing. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction sites. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
