Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction, woodworking, and restoration industries while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding projects to ensure precise execution. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials such as wood, metal, and drywall. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project requirements. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and roofing tasks as needed on various sites. Support restoration projects including general renovation work. Conduct heavy lifting and material handling to support construction activities while adhering to safety standards. Follow all safety protocols on-site, including proper caulking, fixture installation, electrical work assistance, plumbing support, and flooring or tile installation. Skills Skilled in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and woodworking techniques. Proficient with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders). Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and ability to operate equipment responsibly. Experience in remodeling or renovation industry preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically fit for demanding tasks. Experience with siding installation, fixture hanging, drywall finishing (including plastering), roofing work or tile laying is a plus. Strong understanding of construction materials including concrete forms and rebar; capable of supporting manufacturing or fabrication processes.
