THE JOB:
The Laborer is responsible for providing general assistance to all areas of the property. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and department and company policies, practices, and procedures to ensure overall facility integrity.
THE STARTING RATE
$18.62 THE
DAY-TO-DAY
Collecting/carrying required parts materials and equipment to designated work areas; assisting with office, furniture and casino equipment moves, and with demolition and clean up on construction projects. Pick up parts and supplies from vendors, keep the property maintenance department warehouse clean and orderly. Responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintaining logbooks. Operate motorized/power equipment; skyjack, forklift, scissor lift, jackhammer, and other heavy machinery; fuel and service engineering vehicles; maintain inventory of keys and tools in the Engineering Tool Room. Perform cleaning duties of bodies of water from above or under water by scuba diving. Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner. Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property. Maintain constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.). Perform other job-related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Required. Must be willing/able to obtain Open Water Diver Certification within 90 days of employment Required. Must be willing/able to obtain CPR certification within 90 days of employment Required. Driver's License Required.
