Summary Description:

Divers and Diver Tenders to support the installation of the Waterborne Barrier System in southern Texas area, Brownsville, Cameron County.

Detailed Description:

 Hooking up rigging to the underwater, drilled in 4" pipe piles. Scuba, full face mask or SSA-Hooka. Shallow, fresh water 4' to 12'. Average 7'. River diving, 3mm wet suit. Repetitive wet work.

Working from a barge float. Ladder access for entering and exiting the water.

Duration:

9 month to 1 year

Pay:

$400.00/Day plus $80.00 Per diem Military Welcome We need 5 divers and 5 diver tenders

Key Responsibilities:

• Secure rigging to underwater pipe, piles
•  Able to assemble simple bolts in very low to zero visibility
• Operate surface-supplied diving equipment according to strict OSHA safety standards.
• Work under constant, direct supervision of a dive supervisor, ensuring communication via tender.
• Adhere to safety procedures, including monitoring dive depths, lengths, and water conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• Ideal age: between 18 - 50 years
•  Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for Federal/DHS projects).
• Professional underwater diving experience (inland construction preferred).
• Experience with rigging and working in low-visibility.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work in adverse weather (heat, cold, rain).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in heavy gear (25-30 lbs) for 4+ hours daily.
