Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction. This role involves working on various concrete projects, including foundations, sidewalks, and hardscapes. The Concrete Laborer will collaborate with other team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various structures. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Perform masonry work as needed, including bricklaying and stone setting. Engage in trim carpentry tasks related to concrete forms and finishing. Conduct renovations involving concrete elements, ensuring structural integrity. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Requirements Proven experience in concrete labor or related construction fields. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. Familiarity with concrete pumping techniques is preferred. Experience with hardscape installation is a plus. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely. Proficiency in using power tools effectively. Knowledge of masonry techniques is beneficial. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety.
