Concrete Foreperson / Foreman Bowman Dig and Demo Mesa, AZ Job Details Full-time $30 - $40 an hour 19 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Customer communication Management Outdoor work Concrete pouring Formwork construction Concrete finishing Trailer towing Driver's License Supervising experience Construction team management Leading team collaboration initiatives Construction stakeholder communication Managing teams in a construction management role Full Job Description Bowman Dig & Demo is hiring a hands-on Concrete Foreperson / Foreman to lead field jobs, manage a small crew, communicate with customers and contractors, and help keep projects organized, safe, efficient, and high quality. We need someone skilled in concrete who can take ownership of day-to-day jobsite execution, lead multiple people, set forms, finish concrete, operate finishing machines, solve problems in the field, and help jobs run smoothly from start to finish.
Pay:
This position starts with a paid one-week working trial at $30/hour. After the trial, final pay will be confirmed between $30-$40/hour based on skill, leadership, reliability, communication, and overall fit.
Schedule:
Full-time W-2 position 40 hours per week 5 days per week Typical start time is 6:00 AM Occasional overtime or Saturdays may be needed depending on the job schedule
What You'll Do:
Lead concrete and demo jobs from start to finish Manage and direct a crew of 2-4 people Set forms accurately and prepare jobs for concrete Finish concrete and operate finishing machines Keep jobs on schedule, organized, safe, clean, and efficient Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, crew members, and management Handle jobsite questions, issues, and pressure with calm problem-solving Read plans and understand job layout, scope, and expectations Help with grading, site prep, footings, turndowns, and related concrete prep work Tow trailers and safely transport equipment/materials as needed Take ownership of quality, communication, crew accountability, and jobsite cleanliness
Must Have:
At least 2 years of concrete experience Strong concrete finishing skills Experience setting forms Experience using finishing machines Valid driver's license Acceptable driving record for job duties and towing Ability to tow a trailer Ability to lead a small crew and hold workers accountable Strong communication with customers, contractors, and team members Honest, dependable, responsible, and calm under pressure Ability to work outdoors and perform physical concrete work safely
Preferred Experience:
Reading plans Grading and site prep Skid steer operation Excavator operation Footings and turndowns Concrete repair, resurfacing, and demo
