In this vital role, you will be responsible for setting up and dismantling concrete forms that shape and support poured concrete structures. Your expertise will ensure the precision, safety, and efficiency of concrete installations across various projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality craftsmanship on every project. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately set forms for concrete structures Install formwork using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper alignment, stability, and safety standards are met Assist with rebar installation to reinforce concrete elements according to specifications Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery necessary for form setting and concrete pouring Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate tasks during renovation or new construction projects Perform finishing tasks including caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, and concrete finishing to achieve smooth surfaces Conduct quality checks on forms before concrete pouring and assist in the removal of forms once the concrete has set Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete forming or related trades such as masonry or carpentry Mechanical knowledge of tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics reading is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Familiarity with blueprint reading, metal stud framing, framing carpentry, roofing, plastering, and flooring installation is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and safety protocols on job sites Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards This is a safety sensitive position.
