Responsibilities Lead and supervise all concrete construction activities.

Includes:

formwork, reinforcement placement, pouring, finishing, and curing processes. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to develop detailed schedules to ensure timely project delivery. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring a safe work environment. Providing clear direction, supervising work quality, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and schematics. Monitor project progress through blueprint reading, schematics analysis, and construction management. Conduct quality control inspections. Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs against estimates, and implement corrective actions as needed. Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction projects at a Superintendent level (Focused in Concrete Flatwork, Concrete Structures, Site Preparation/Grading, and Bridge Structure). Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P6), HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality control. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations related to construction sites and concrete operations. Supervising experience in large-scale infrastructure projects involving pipelines or similar structures is highly desirable. Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Physical demands as described must be met by an employee of Whelcon Contractors to perform essential job functions successfully. Applicant must be able to do the following: Talk, hear, and see with the ability to distinguish colors. Stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time. Use hands to write and operate a computer keyboard. Use hands and feet to operate heavy equipment. Wear weighted safety gear as required by safety regulation for long periods of time, such as steel-toed shoes, a belt safety harness, and a hard hat. Lift and/or move materials up to and exceeding 50 pounds.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
