Job Description:

Amtec Staffing has partnered with a respected Top ENR General Contractor to identify an experienced Superintendent for an upcoming ground-up hotel construction project in San Juan Capistrano, CA . This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing project team on a high-profile coastal development project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete and cement structural construction along with experience overseeing below grade work, underground utilities, and early-stage site development.

Commercial Construction Responsibilities:

? Oversee day-to-day field operations for a ground-up hotel project from site development through completion ? Coordinate and manage subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and field logistics ? Lead early-stage construction activities including excavation, underground utilities, and below grade structural work ? Supervise concrete and cement structural scopes including foundations, slabs, retaining walls, and structural concrete elements ? Maintain project safety, quality control, and schedule milestones ? Conduct subcontractor meetings, site walks, and coordination meetings with ownership and project management teams ? Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, architects, engineers, and city officials throughout construction ? Prepare daily reports and proactively resolve field issues as they arise ? Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards

Qualifications:

? 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial or hospitality construction projects ? Strong experience with concrete and cement structural construction required ? Experience with below grade structures, excavation, and underground utility coordination required ? Ground-up commercial or hotel construction experience preferred ? Strong scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination experience ? Ability to lead field teams in a fast-paced construction environment ? OSHA certification preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
