About Us Covington Construction LLC specializes in large-scale luxury residential and multifamily construction projects, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and efficient project execution. Our team is committed to maintaining strong safety standards, collaborative teamwork, and a high level of attention to detail on every project. Position Overview Covington Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field operations for structural concrete work on large-scale luxury residential and multifamily construction projects in Mammoth Lakes, CA. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that all concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The Concrete Foreman will work closely with the Project Superintendent and Project Management team to maintain project schedules, coordinate inspections, and ensure accurate execution of plans and specifications. This position is project-based and aligned with the duration of active concrete operations . Covington Construction LLC is actively growing, and high-performing individuals may be considered for transition into a full-time, long-term Foreman role based on performance, project needs, and company expansion. Key Responsibilities Field Operations & Crew Management Manage daily field operations related to concrete work Supervise and coordinate concrete crews (typically 10-20 workers) Assist with crew staffing and hiring when applicable Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as required Concrete Construction Oversight Manage layout and construction of foundations and structural concrete elements Oversee installation of formwork and coordination of rebar placement Supervise construction of footings, stem walls, slabs on grade, and retaining walls Coordinate concrete pump operations and pour logistics Review concrete mix specifications and placement requirements Supervise finishing operations to ensure quality standards are met Project Coordination Review structural plans and specifications prior to work Coordinate with the Project Superintendent to maintain schedule targets Manage material deliveries and jobsite logistics Coordinate required inspections with local authorities Communicate field conditions, changes, or issues to project leadership Safety & Quality Maintain strict adherence to jobsite safety protocols Ensure all work meets project quality standards and structural requirements Promote a safety-focused culture among crews Qualifications 3+ years of construction experience 1+ years of experience in a foreman or lead role Experience in structural concrete construction Ability to read and interpret structural plans and specifications Experience performing field layout using lasers or transit equipment Strong leadership and crew management skills Ability to coordinate with multiple trades and subcontractors Valid driver's license with reliable transportation High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred:
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Equipment operation experience Bilingual Spanish/English Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and uneven terrain Ability to work extended hours during major pours
Compensation Hourly:
$35 - $65 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications Bonus opportunities may be available based on performance
