Estimator - Bay Area (Concrete Contractor) 150-200k! Must have concrete estimating experience. Overview Seeking an Estimator to join their Bay Area team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile commercial, infrastructure, and mixed-use projects with one of the most respected self-performing concrete groups in the region. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and proposals for structural and architectural concrete scopes. Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify risks and opportunities. Collaborate with preconstruction, operations, and field teams to ensure accuracy in scope and pricing. Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Lead bid strategy discussions and participate in pre-bid meetings and site walks. Support the transition from estimating to project execution, ensuring continuity between preconstruction and operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5-10 years of estimating experience within concrete or self-performing trades. Strong proficiency with estimating software (e.g., OST, Bluebeam, Excel). Ability to manage multiple bids with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and detail.
